Gear making tools, just like other monolithic tools, are suitable for reconditioning. Whether they are Fellows chisels or power skiving tools, the reconditioning process is very fast and efficient. In addition, there is a high saving in relation to the purchase of new pieces.

Both Fellows and Power Skiving chiselling tools can be regenerated, resulting in significant cost savings. Such regeneration consists of sharpening the cutting edge by grinding the face of the tool. In doing so, the tooth evanescence is not changed. During regeneration, approximately 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm is removed at a time, and the tools can be regenerated several times. The cost of such a regeneration closes within the range of several hundred zlotys, which is a fraction of the price of a new tool!
Speed of implementation
The regeneration process is quite simple. We perform it on a specialized ANCA GCX machine, and the whole process takes a maximum of several hours.
Special PVD coating
After grinding and preparing the cutting edge, in the next stage a special coating intended for gear machining tools is applied to the tools. We apply PVD coatings in our company because we have all the necessary technology to perform professional regeneration services.
Multiple regeneration
Fellows chisels and power skiving tools can be regenerated many times. Approximately 0.3 mm to 0.6 mm is removed during regeneration.
Ecological process
