The Uni+ milling cutter is a universal tool for working in various materials, additionally equipped with a chip breaker. This is the only difference from its older brother – the Humm Uni version.
The chip breaker is designed to break the chips generated during processing, thus facilitating their removal from the working surface of the milling cutter and preventing them from wrapping around the milling cutter, which can result in damage to the machined surface.
The high core thickness provides increased rigidity, thus eliminating the possibility of the tool bending during heavy machining. In this case, similarly to the Uni series, we have used a special PVD coating with a high oxidation temperature of over 1200° C.
