The basic criterion when designing these cutters was to create a very universal tool – able to work in various materials.
We decided to increase the core thickness to obtain greater stiffness. Also to eliminate the possibility of tool bending during heavy machining. In this case, we additionally used a PVD coating with a high oxidation temperature of over 1200°C.
